TURKEY and McLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide has reached an agreement to introduce four new hotels in Turkey, under its mid-market Hilton Garden Inn and economy Hampton by Hilton brands. The latest agreements see Hilton Worldwide surpass 60 hotels trading and under development across the country, coinciding with its 60th year anniversary in the strategic Turkish market. Having opened its first hotel - Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus - in 1955, Hilton Worldwide now boasts more than 7,500 rooms across the country, with more than 5,000 additional rooms in the development pipeline.

Hilton Garden Inn will add Isparta and Safranbolu to its portfolio, whilst Hampton by Hilton will welcome new hotels in Kahramanmaras and Izmir, Aliaga. The hotels are all expected to open in 2016.

Hilton Garden Inn Isparta
Hilton Garden Inn Isparta will offer 150 guest rooms over 12 floors. The property will be managed by Hilton Worldwide on behalf of the new owner Şener Gida Magazacilik Inşaat Turizm San. Tic A.Ş., and is due for completion in the first quarter of 2016.

Situated at a height of 1,035m above sea level, Hilton Garden Inn Isparta is set in an area known locally as the 'Lakes Region'. Close by are the National Parks of Kovada and Kızıldağı, offering guests stunning surroundings of natural beauty. Known as 'The City of Roses', Isparta is renowned for its rosewater and rose oil industry, and produces around 50% of the world's rose oil. Other profitable industries in the region include textiles and natural stone production.

Hilton Garden Inn Safranbolu
Hilton Garden Inn Safranbolu will offer 128 guest rooms and a number of food and beverage options, including a restaurant, garden lounge and lobby bar. The property will also have an independently run spa on site. Hilton Worldwide will manage the hotel on behalf of the new owner Pürpa Turizm ve Otelcilik San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. upon completion, predicted for the first quarter of 2016.

Safranbolu, situated in the Karabuk province, is eight kilometres from the capital of Karabuk, which is in the top 10 Turkish cities for GDP. The historical city centre of Safranbolu was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1994 for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture.

Hampton by Hilton Kahramanmaras
Hampton by Hilton Kahramanmaras will house 80 guestrooms, and provide onsite food and beverage outlets. The original hotel will undergo a complete renovation, due to be completed in the third quarter of 2016. The site will be run as a franchise by owner Bellizade Turizm Otelcilik Gıda San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti, on behalf of Hilton Worldwide, and will operate in the commercial centre of the city.

As an important trade centre for the country, Kahramanmaras is home to more than 500 factories, producing upwards of $3 billion worth of industrial goods each year.

Hampton by Hilton Izmir/Aliaga
Hampton by Hilton Aliaga will provide 117 rooms, as well as five meeting rooms at an average of 44 square metres. The hotel is to be franchised by Hilton Worldwide to new owner İzmir Mühendislik Müşavirlik Makine ve Demir Çelik Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. and is slated to open in early 2016.

The hotel will be located on the North Shore of the Aliaga Gulf, strategically set between the beach, city, and business hubs. Aliaga is in an industrial district of Izmir, situated 50 km north of the city centre.
