USA Today Travel: Hilton Garden Inn takes over Milwaukee architectural gem

Despite stagnant demand for hotel rooms in downtown Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that three hotels are now under construction: Hilton Garden Inn: This is a conversion of a 1886-era Romanesque-style office building (611 N. Broadway) with marble steps, a six-story atrium that features a skylight, and taller-than-average ceilings.
